The Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme: a step-by-step guide to free full fibre broadband installation
The Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme, funded by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport, was launched to ensure rural corners of the UK have access to full fibre broadband. This scheme was designed to support the construction of gigabit-capable networks in hard-to-reach communities. If you’re ready to take advantage of this funding, great! It only takes two steps listed below, otherwise you can watch this video.
Step one: validate your voucher
Once you sign up for Fusion Fibre Group’s (Formerly FACTCO) full fibre, we’ll request an installation voucher from Building Digital UK (BDUK) on your behalf. You’ll receive an email from BDUK with a one-time link and password, asking you to view and accept the terms of the scheme. Validating this email means your voucher will be validated for Fusion Fibre Group to use for installation!
Step two: confirm full fibre broadband connection
Once your property has been connected to our full fibre network, you’ll need to confirm with BDUK that the installation has been a success! You’ll receive another email from BDUK with a one-time link and password which will take you to a page asking you to confirm your connection. This is the final steps that ensures your instalment cost will be covered, so please be sure to do this! You’ll also be asked to complete a satisfaction survey about your new full fibre service.
It’s as simple as that!
